(take)  many photos since we (3) _______________(get) here. Steven (4) _________________(send) you some the other day. (5)____________________(you/see) them yet?

Anyway, so far I (6) ________________(fly) in a helicopter over the Caribbean coast and (7) ________________________ (swim) with dolphins in Xcaret.

Yesterday, Steve and John (8) ________________________(dive) with sharks and (9) __________(go) snorkeling in Islas Mujeres. CLASS 6

Topic: Passive voice (Voz Pasiva)

1. Watch the following video

   Click on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBtFCPwDkk8

   Notes:

1. Para usar la voz pasiva, primero es necesario tener una idea en voz activa.

Ejemplo: Presente Simple.

People cultivate apples in Chihuahua. (Present Simple)

2. Identificar los elementos de la idea:

   People: subject (sujeto)
   cultivate: verb  (verbo)
   apples: (object)
   in Chihuahua (extra-information or complement)

3. Ahora hay que cambiar el orden de la idea, tomando como sujeto el objeto:

   Apples

4. Agregar el verbo "be" en presente

   Apples are

5. Seguido el pasado participio del verbo cultivate:

   Apples are cultivated

6. Agregar la preposición "by" (por)

   Apples are cultivated by

7. Agregar el sujeto después de la preposición ...

    Apples are cultivated by people

7. Finalmente, agregar el complemento (extra information)

Apples are cultivated by people in Chihuahua (esta idea esta en voz pasiva en presente, el tiempo no cambió, solo el orden).

Recuerda:
1. En la Voz pasiva lo más importante es el objeto del enunciado o la idea.
2. La fórmula en inglés es: object + verb be+ pasado participio del verbo principal + preposición "by" + subject + complement.

Ejemplo en pasado:

Voz Activa: Edison invented the light bulb (la idea está en pasado simple)

Edison: subject

invented: verbo principal en pasado

the light bulb: objeto

Voz Pasiva: The light bulb was invented by Edison

The light bulb: objeto

was (verb be en pasado)

invented (pasado participio del verbo principal)

by: preposición

Edison: subject
