a) Look at the model of the conversation on page 103

b) Focus on the following situation:

   "You want to help out in an animal shelter/charity shop/ home for the elderly."

c) Make up (create) your conversation according to this plan:
 
   1. Say the reason you are calling and offer to volunteer.
   2. Say the day/times you are available and ask how you could help.
   3. Say what you can do.
   4. Agree on suggested day to start.
